About Speaker

Robert Miller, PSP, CSI, CDT, is a perimeter security consultant with a demonstrated history of success working in the perimeter security industry. With over 40 years’ experience, he offers proactive insight as a subject matter expert on fences, gates, bollards and barriers. Miller has been hands-on both in the office and in the field provide him with the ability to professionally guide those looking to secure their perimeter by assessing the vulnerability of their site and determining the correct products and design layout relative to their needs. He has used his expertise in supporting the design and construction teams on major league sports facilities, military facilities, data centers and public safety facilities.

Miller is an active member of the Security Industry Association, ASIS International, the Construction Specifications Institute, ASTM International, the US CPTED Association and the American Fence Association (AFA). He is an American Institute of Architects accredited presenter for over 20 years and has presented over 800 times to various architects, engineers and other design professionals. Miller is chair of SIA's Perimeter Security Terminology group, chair on the ASTM F14-10 subcommittee and president of the AFA Michigan chapter. He is committed to lifelong learning to ensure that the latest trends and standards of the industry are being utilized to insure a complete and effective perimeter security solution.
