Layering Intrusion Detection Technologies at the Perimeter Through Multiple Technologies
If you’re looking to detect, deter, and defend against unwanted intrusions, ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL. This panel discussion explores the various layers in perimeter security from the outside-in: long-range radar, physical fencing and fence-mounted intrusion detection, low voltage lighting, microwave barriers, linear beams and cameras (PTZ, fixed and thermal).
Using a critical infrastructure case study application, experts from CIAS Security, CAST Perimeter, Betafence, Magos Radar and Hanwha Vision will share and demonstrate the basics of securing the perimeter of at-risk sites with multiple technologies working together on every layer.
CIAS Security, a Milan-based manufacturer of microwave barriers, short-range radar, fence-mounted intrusion detection sensors and linear barriers, protects critical infrastructure, military, government, and other at-risk sites worldwide. CAST Perimeter manufactures low-voltage lighting systems to light up areas upon intrusion by would-be adversaries. Betafence is a manufacturer of physical fencing for the perimeter’s first “physical” line of defense. Magos offers advanced radar technology for perimeter protection markets that integrates with existing VMS, PSIM and C4I. Hanwha Vision is world-renowned for its cameras and video management systems to give control centers a full and enhanced view of an intrusion.
