The Walt Disney CompanyDavid Hernandez is a technology leader with nearly 20 years of experience aligning IT systems with business needs across a range of industries. His background includes solution design, project management and strategic planning, with deep expertise in physical security systems, as well as experience in asset management and voice over IP.
Hernandez has led enterprise deployments and understands the coordination, resources and cross-functional alignment required to execute large-scale change.
At The Walt Disney Company, he helped develop programs for the Global Security Operations Center beginning in 2015.After a period in business development, Hernandez returned to Disney as senior manager of global security technology and was promoted to director in 2021. In that role, he led technology strategy and the design, development and deployment of solutions that strengthened security operations. He also oversaw the consolidation of security programs during three major acquisitions and unified enterprise security applications across lines of business. Earlier in his career, Hernandez worked with leading security software manufacturers, bringing operational and business insight to product and technology roadmaps.
